Another year gone...... however an even better year ahead!
The 43rd year certainly wasn't a dull one for our Kercher family and resulted in our annual show being a huge success as always! We thank everyone who took part, those who came to support and of course our wonderful team of staff as without their hard work and wonderful choreography it could not have been such a huge success!
Moving forward into another jam-packed year ahead. We have some very exciting changes coming, new additions and of course lots to offer for all of the dance family. Do check out our new timetable for all class details but if you are new to the school or have friends who would like to join us why not come along to our FREE TRIAL WEEKEND!
All the details are below but this selection of classes gives you a real taste of what the school offers, allows us to see you in action and suggest levels in which to join us at, find something that you love to do and meet the teachers whilst even being able to work with and see current students perform. Do email us to book your place as we always find these to be popular.

IS IT THAT TIME AGAIN ALREADY??? HOW EXCITING!!!
The new term with our Kercher family is already almost upon us and after another successful year we head forwards looking to another exciting one ahead.
Again we must say a big well done to everyone who took part in the end of term show Destination Dance as it was a wonderful family event seeing all our pupils from 2yrs to adult enjoying themselves and working so hard to wow us in more ways than one. Congratulations again and many thanks to everyone who made the weekend and end of term go out with a bang of celebration!
Now onto the new term........
We welcome all our current pupils back and also extend a warm welcome to our new members joining us for the first time. We also encourage any new pupils and current pupils to take the opportunity of our free trial classes which we are holding on the 7th/8th and 10th in all subjects and age groups! Who knows you might find a new subject you like in there?? Plus point its free to attend as many as you wish...... just please book your place in the classes before hand. Below you can find the Trial days timetable and our sister company MKC are also involved so if you have always wondered what they get up to on a Saturday afternoon then now is your chance to take a free trial with them also.
Invoices and Timetables have now gone out and do get in touch if you have any queries.
This year has many events already planned and all will be posted on our parents Facebook group and on the school noticeboard so watch out for information as there is literally something everyone can take part in.
We are looking forward to this new year ahead as we go into our 43rd year and are so glad you have chosen to be part of the Kercher family and look forward to seeing the achievements and progress our students make over the coming 12 months!
DANCE, LEARN, BELIEVE!!!!!!
MISS KT TEACHING ACROSS THE GLOBE!
From the States to Europe our KT is currently over here and literally since stepping off the plane she hasn't stopped. After visiting us on her holiday ... yes thats right holiday..... she doesn't know what rest means!!!! Managed to find time (after she was personally invited) to be on an audition panel and then taught 3 musical theatre masterclasses in Gozo (nr Malta) Despite the high temperatures of 40 degrees+, KT gave her insight of the arts to over 60 pupils from the local Victoria community from ages 10 - 21 years. KT loved every minute of it and it was a pleasure on the sidelines to see the joy and fun all of the students from the Centre Stage Dance School were having. KT looks forward to working with them again as she was thrilled with their amazing work ethic, hard work mentality towards their craft and such passion for dance it was thrilling to watch as they worked in the studio space

SUMMER TERM 2016
We welcome all our Kercher students back this week with lessons commencing Monday 18th April.
We have an exciting term ahead with our Contemporary pupils performing at Activate at the Aylesbury Waterside, MKC's Musical "Three Little Pigs" at Second Space in Aylesbury Waterside, Two full days of ISTD Ballet, Modern, Tap Exams as well as other performances including our Annual Summer show on 17th July!
All invoices and our summer newsletter have now been emailed so please check your inboxes for all term details :-)
All of us are looking forward to seeing everyone get back into classes and the practising and rehearsing to begin for the exciting upcoming events.

NEW YEAR 2016, NEW BEGINNINGS!
We hope our Kercher family all had a wonderful Christmas and a fantastic set of New Year Celebrations. We are so looking forward to seeing all our pupils as well as new ones joining us this term starting from this Monday 4th January!
A reminder all invoices have now gone out via email and payment is now due before your first class. If you need anything altered then please get in touch with us asap and we will resolve any issues you may have.
We have a very busy term ahead with various performances, exams and also our annual participation at the Chesham Dance Festival in February half term and wish our pupils every success with these upcoming events.
We are also pleased to announce our annual SUMMER SHOW date and venue which will be
SUNDAY 17TH JULY 2016 at The Elgiva Theatre, Chesham more details to follow at the end of this term.

CHIlDREN IN NEED FUNDRAISING WEEKEND
This was a very busy weekend involved with our Kercher Family!
Firstly our Saturday pupils had the option to dress up as their favourite superheroes! So many were so creative from comic book characters to their own imagined superheroes that were going to save the world!
It was a great atmosphere in all classes and even those who didn't dress up supported the cause by still donating into our fundraising buckets! So well done Saturday pupils for making such a great effort!!!!
Secondly Miss Rcahel has been working hard on a Thursday since the beginning of term with our Kercher Tappers who all wanted to take part in the Record Breaking attempt "Tapathon". Members of the school age 4yrs all the way up to 84 took part. Some were complete beginners (including our very own MR T) all the way through to our advanced tappers in the school. We joined forces with Sargent & Plester and The Constantine Dance Academy at the Chesham Elgiva Theatre and performed along with others all over the country at 1pm! It was a wonderful turn out from all our tappers and was a super fun friendly tap event! Congratulations to everyone who took part!
Overall this weekend from both fundraising events we raised a massive £650.24!!!!!! So proud of what our family, fun school can achieve together!!!! :-)
School Director KT spreads her British Knowledge in the U.S
After gaining the prestigious Artist Visa and being back in the U.S literally only 24hrs, our very own School Director KT Thomas was the 1st masterclass teacher in a "Guest Artist" series flying the Kercher Flag in Lewes, Delaware with Cape Henlopen High School students. KT took two days of varying classes in Broadway / West End stylised masterclasses to the 13-18 year old students. It's wonderful to see KT spreading her diversity of knowledge and ability worldwide whilst learning and bringing new varieties of teaching skills and disciplines back to enhance at home in the UK to our pupils here at the Kercher School of Dance. KT is establishing links with schools and theatre schools across the U.S so watch this space.......... there is more to come! Check out the wonderful article below!

Once again, Miss KT will be auditioning throughout the vale for children for Dick Whittington at Aylesbury Waterside for the upcoming Panto season.
More details will follow shortly so keep an eye out for audition details that will take place early September.
